What the account types mean, and how the platform works. Open the bit that applies to you.
Choosing your account
Three kinds of account, all free β they're not price tiers. Open the one that matches how you work.
πΆ Pet Owner
You have pets and need someone to care for themFind them. Open the link your walker, groomer or boarder sent you, or search business listings by service and distance. A green Verified badge means our team has checked a document.
Keep them handy. Book with someone, or tap Save to my dashboard, and they're one tap away next time.
Add your pets. Breed, age, special needs, your vet. No rush β you can do it after booking. Shared once a booking is confirmed.
Add your postcode in your profile so we can work out who's near you. Only the area β like "M20" β is ever public.
Book. Send a request from their availability, or ask for a time they haven't listed. You get an email either way.
Stay in the loop. Message them any time, get a reminder the day before, and a write-up afterwards β often with a photo.
Sync to calendar. Subscribe once and bookings appear and disappear on their own.
Pay your way. Cash, bank transfer, or by card through the site.
β Solo-Trader
You offer pet services and it's just youA walker, groomer, sitter or trainer working on your own. You get the whole platform:
Your profile. Bio, photo, services, animals you cover, Facebook and TikTok. Add your postcode β clients search by distance, so without one you won't appear at all.
Invite your existing clients. You get a short link β mypetcare.pro/b/your-name β and can email up to 25 clients at a time from your profile edit page. You're in business listings too, for people looking for someone new.
Add them yourself. Reserve books someone in from just an email address; Accounts β Create adds a client with no booking yet. Either way we set up their account and email them to finish it off.
Credentials. Upload insurance, DBS checks and qualifications. We review them; verified ones get a green badge. Documents stay private.
Availability. Bookings holds your diary. A slot is one-off or repeats weekly for up to four months, with each date its own so you can cancel one without touching the rest. Group walks take several clients; single walks and home visits are one-to-one.
The calendar. A month view with a coloured line on each day for what's on β tap a day to open it hour by hour. Subscribe your phone's calendar and it keeps itself up to date.
Boarding. List each kennel or pen with a nightly price, plus your drop-off address and times. Clients only see pens genuinely free for their dates, so you can't be double-booked.
Handling bookings. Accept or decline in a tap and the client is told automatically; their contact details unlock once you confirm. Cancelling a walk cancels and emails everyone on it, and tells you who's already paid.
Manage your accounts. Accounts is your client book and your ledger: everyone you deal with, ordered by who's outstanding, a statement per client, and Mark paid when the money lands. It also shows people who've saved you but not booked yet.
After the job. Mark it complete and send the owner an update, with a photo if you like β one update covers a whole group walk. Invoices are there when you need them.
Getting paid. Cash or bank transfer costs you nothing and doesn't involve us. Or set up payouts and we'll send a secure card link β card processing plus a 2% platform fee comes out of that payment.
π’ Multi-User
You offer pet services and you have staffEverything a Solo-Trader gets β profile, availability, bookings, boarding, messaging, credentials, accounts, payments and invoices β plus your team. It isn't a premium version; the only difference is staff.
Invite staff by email in Manage Staff. They set their own password and work from the same diary, bookings and inbox as you.
Assign who's covering each walk or stay and they're emailed automatically. Clients only ever see your business.
No per-person charge, however many you add.
If someone leaves, removing them hands back anything they were covering and turns their login into an ordinary Solo-Trader account. Their account stays theirs.
