MyPetCare.Pro (the "Platform") is a free, community-driven listing and booking service that connects pet owners with independent pet care professionals (dog walkers, sitters, groomers and similar). The Platform exists to help owners and pros find each other, share availability and coordinate services. It is currently offered as a Beta and is available only within the United Kingdom.
2. We're a matchmaker, not a merchant
Prices shown on professional profiles are there to help you plan — think of them as a starting point for conversation, not a checkout page. MyPetCare.Pro does not process, collect, hold or take a cut of any payment. All money exchanged for services is arranged directly between the pet owner and the professional, off-platform and in whatever way suits you both. We are not a party to any financial arrangement. Payment features may come in the future — but right now, we're just here to make the connection.
3. Professionals operate at their own risk
Pet care professionals listed on MyPetCare.Pro operate as independent service providers entirely at their own risk. They are responsible for their own insurance, licensing, vehicles, equipment, training and any qualifications required to safely deliver the services they offer. MyPetCare.Pro does not verify, vet, employ or supervise professionals and makes no warranty as to their competence, conduct or availability.
4. All bookings are at the pet owner's risk
Pet owners use MyPetCare.Pro at their own risk. You are responsible for choosing and contracting with a professional, for satisfying yourself that they are suitable for your pet, and for any care decisions made before, during or after a booking. Loss, injury, illness, escape, damage or any other harm arising from a booking made via MyPetCare.Pro is solely a matter between the pet owner and the professional.
5. No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPetCare.Pro and its operators (Southbyte) accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, the conduct of any user, or any service booked via the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use MyPetCare.Pro lawfully and respectfully. You will not post misleading, abusive, infringing or unlawful content, impersonate others, harass other users, or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Platform. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that breach these terms.
7. Your data
We store the information you provide (display name, postcode, pets, posts and booking details) so the service can function. Postcode lookups are performed via postcodes.io. Your full postcode is only shown to professionals you have a confirmed booking with; the rest of the time only the outward area code is visible publicly.
8. Beta service & availability
MyPetCare.Pro is offered free of charge as a Beta. Features may change, break or be removed without notice, data may be reset between releases, and we make no uptime or service-level commitments.
